Study for a Bachelor in Law and Bachelor in Public Administration and Political Sciences (E-5) (Dual degree) at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas - ICAI - ICADE (Madrid)

The two official degrees in Law and in Public Administration and Political Sciences are designed as a combined degree programme that takes five years to complete: four years to finish the degree in Law and a fifth year, with a lighter course load, to complete the degree in Public Administration and Political Sciences. This programme provides a solid preparation that enables graduates to work as legal professionals, principally in the public sector as well as in Spanish institutions (State lawyers, lawyer in the Spanish Parliament and autonomous parliaments, technical officers in different Spanish Public Administrations) as well as European Union organisations; it also offers them the possibility of enrolment in postgraduate studies which will qualify them to practice law. Moreover, in the area of political action and analysis, these studies are ideal for those who are interested in working in political consultancies, in the management and quality of public policy, in political communication and campaign management, as well as in law offices specialised in regulated sectors and public procurement.

The degree in Law together with the degree in Public Administration and Political Sciences combines the excellence of a Law degree from our University and a degree that deals with numerous highly relevant aspects of today's world. On the one hand, the degree includes the study of the theoretical foundations of political science and political theory, as well as real political action, both in the national and the international arena; it also includes advanced political management, communication, consultancy and negotiation. On the other hand, public policy and management are analysed, focusing especially on quality management and modernization techniques in the public sector.

Naturally the Faculty of Law also offers postgraduate Master's and Doctoral studies, and will give priority to graduates from its undergraduate degrees when admitting students to its Master for Admission to the Bar Exam.
