Master in the Electric Power Industry
Of the various sectors in which you can kick-start your professional career, the energy sector, and in particular the electrical sector, has some very appealing features. The worldwide boom in the use of electrical energy, the creation of electrical markets, the emergence of new business arenas for companies, the implementation of new renewable energy generation technologies, the interaction with other sectors such as the gas industry, the need for regulating specific activities within this industry and including environmental impact criteria, the internationalisation of energy markets, and so on, are only a few examples outlining the various fields in which it is possible to have an exciting professional career. Given the changes that have taken place in the last couple of years, the main focus is on the need to update training for the new generations of experts and professionals so that they may be able to develop, research and innovate within the international electrical energy sector. With this in mind the Master in the Electric Power Industry was designed, taking ICAI School of Engineering and the Institute for Research in Technology long history of professional training and research within the electrical sector as a benchmark.
