La profesora Yolanda Moratilla estudió Ingeniería Industrial en ICAI (1993), obteniendo el doctorado por la Universidad Pontificia Comillas en 2000. Tras unos años de trabajo en la ingeniería Técnicas Reunidas, que compatibilizó con la docencia a tiempo parcial en ICAI, pasó a incorporarse como profesora a dedicación exclusiva en ICAI. Actualmente imparte Termodinámica e Ingeniería Energética, centrándose su experiencia docente en el área de Máquinas y Motores Térmicos. Dirige la Cátedra Rafael Mariño de Nuevas Tecnologías Energéticas de Comillas y es Presidenta del Comité de Energía y Recursos Naturales del Instituto de la Ingeniería de España.
