Sophia-Iberia in Europe is the combined scientific and philosophic reflection on human evolution and its anthropic roots. This focus makes it necessary to have a wide interdisciplinary approach which connects the physics of matter, scientific cosmology, biology and neurology, the formal sciences, together with philosophy and theology.

An interdisciplinary focus
Which themes are subject to reflection? Are the themes scientific, philosophical, theological or scientific-philosophical-theological? How can this be understood with precision? The aspects that should be clearly understood in order to participate in the project are: its thematic scope and the special focus on the theme of the project.
The anthropic roots
Man is real because matter, the universe and life have certain anthropic conditions which have made this possible. The anthropic is a metaphysically neutral fact which does not necessarily imply an intelligent design.
However, knowledge of the anthropic roots is essential if we are to know where the nature of man comes from and to establish the evolutionary events which condition metaphysical and theological reflection.
